Accidents? No problem! We all know our pets can’t always “holdit,” and potty waste disposal can belogistically tricky within the connes ofa hospital. Throughout the newhospital are porcelain structuresequivalent to a commode, throughwhich we are able to ush body wastefrom patients when accidents occur.

It’s all in a tubeLocated down the corridor from ourprimary care treatment area is apneumatic tube device that enables usto send lab specimens directly to ourclinical pathology laboratory, thussaving time and helping us be moreecient.

No muss, no fussWithin our anesthesia induction area, there are 10 stations, each of which isequipped with oxygen, vacuum andpower. A central vacuum system allowsall clipped hair to be removed with aminimal mess.

Now, that’s thick! The walls and ceiling of our linearaccelerator (linac) vault consist ofpoured concrete, 40 inches thick, toprevent any radiation escaping duringtreatment.
