346.Coccidiosis is a common protozoan disease in domestic birds and other fowl,characterizedbyenteritisandbloodydiarrhoea.The intestinal tract isaffected,withthe exception of the renal coccidiosis in geese. Clinically, bloody faeces, ruffledfeathers,anaemia,reducedheadsizeandsomnolenceareobserved.
