What is ozone layer?
It is the layer in the Earth’s
atmosphere which contains
relatively high concentration of
ozone.
This layer absorbs 97-99%
of the sun’s high frequency
ultraviolet light which is
potentially damaging to the life
forms on Earth.
What does the ozone
layer do?
Ozone layer prevents us from
harmful ultraviolet rays.
What would happen if the ozone layer
were to disappear?
Humans would be suffering from diseases like skin
cancer, premature aging, immune system damage,
cataracts and other eye disorders.
