Welcome to CinchSeal & Thank you for your valuable time.
Established in 1995 Manufactures rotary shaft seals Serves food, chemical, and material handling
industries. Located in Pennsauken,NJ
Cinchseals are unique and problem solving sealing devices that are designed to seal powder, slurries, or bulk materials on process equipment. It is an effective powder or slurry rotary shaft seal used to reduce product loss, eliminate housekeeping issues, and prevent bearing and equipment downtime in todays demanding industrial processing plants.
Industries we serve: Agricultural Chemicals Bakery Cosmetic Dairy(Cheese) Food Grain & Milling Industrial Chemicals Meat Packing Mining & Construction Packaging(Baggers) Paint & Pigment
Petroleum & Refining Pharmaceutical Plastic Preserved fruits &
vegetables Rubber(Latex) Snack foods Stone, clay and glass Sugar & confectionary Pulp & Paper Waste water treatment
Rotating Equipment we seal:

Benefits of CinchSeal Cost savings: eliminates material loss, maintenance
costs, prevents bearing failure, shaft damage, and saves money by less power consumption.
Durability: The CinchSeal was designed to (thrive/work) in some of the most rigorous and hostel environments in the food and bulk processing industries which is why the CinchSeal can last for up to 5yrs w/o issue or problems.
Healthier: CinchSeal’s effectiveness to stop leakage makes contaminated processing areas a thing of the past; ensuring the safety of employees and their work environments.
Repairable: Designed to accommodate Repair/Rebuild Kits
Internal MechanismThe molded elastomer “boot” seals at
the shaft statically without damaging or wearing the shaft.
The Silicone boot can withstand temperatures up to 400 degrees F.
Seal ElementsThe Elastomer boot material is an FDA
approved GE silicone that will handle 95% of industrial applications in the field. This lowers inventory and price, and reduces material selection errors.
Parts of the SealThe PTFE Stators and Rotor cups are
made out of special mineral filled Teflon with 15% of a binding agent called Wollastonite, which improves friction stability and heat transfer.
How the 7550 Seal Works… The PTFE rotor cups are mounted on either side
of the silicone boot and turn with the shaft against a series of stator plates which creates the primary seal. The sacrificial surface in the seal is designed to wear and be easily replaced.
Because the cups are mounted to the boot, the rotory assembly floats with the shaft accepting ¼” run out and misalignment that is common to bulk handling equipment.

Crucial info needed for a split or custom seal:
1. Existing bolt pattern (B), size of the bolts, and # of bolts2. Shaft size (A)3. Available space out to the first obstruction (E), bearing, etc.4. Available space around the shaft (c) to mount the seal.
(Bearing shelves)5. Any obstructions on the vessel wall where the seal is
mounting. Do we need to design around a bracket or shell?
Why do we air purge our seals?Creates a higher pressure in the
seal chamber to create a natural air barrier that keeps product out of the seal.
Air purge cools the rotating seal faces by reducing temperature caused by friction.
The pressure inside the seal housing creates a force that pushes the rotating faces outward against the stationary faces creating a tighter seal.
How can this seal benefit your customers?
Reduces product lossReduces plant housekeepingReduces maintenanceImproves equipment operationEliminates shaft damageConsumes less power
