Golgi Complex

Cell Membrane- Determines what gets in and out of the cell

Cytoplasm-Region between the cell membrane and the nucleus that is fluid filled and contains organelles

Cytoskeleton- Network of protein filaments that support and shape the cell

Nucleus- Contains genetic material (DNA)- Hold instructions for making Protein

NUCLEOLUS

- Makes ribosomes

Nuclear Membrane- Determines what enters and leaves the nucleus

Endoplasmic Reticulum: Assists in production, processing, and packaging of proteins and lipids1. Rough ER: Transports and makes proteins2. Smooth ER: transports and makes lipids: breaks down toxins

Cell Wall- Protects and supports the cell- Found in fungi, archaea, bacteria,

some protists- Contains carbohydrate cellulose

Vacuole- Vesicle that stores materials- In plants they are large, full of water- In animals smaller, full of food,

water, waste

Chloroplast

- Site of photosynthesis
