F/V SAO JACINTOF/V SAO JACINTO

F/V SAO JACINTO -- ran hard aground just south of Brenton Point on 15 July 2009. Master stated he had fallen asleep and ran the vessel aground. There was approximately 1800 gallons of diesel fuel onboard. Vessel was successfully re-floated with minimal loss of oil.

Sector Southeastern New England will conduct a full-scale exercise called EXERCISE VIGILANT HOPE during the week of 4-8 May 2010 in Providence, RI

Exercise combines a Hazmat incident in the port with active terrorists in multiple locations around port.
