CAVALIER CONNECTION
School Picture day has been rescheduled
for Tuesday, September 21st and
Wednesday, September 22nd.
We have completed 6 weeks of school and it has been awesome. The
kids are settling back in and working to figure out “normal” school
again. Please make sure that you check on their grades and progress
report this next week. It is important that students work hard over
the next few weeks to assure that their performance in classes is
where it needs to be! Have a great weekend and we hope to see you
at Woodforest Stadium Saturday (9/18) night to support our
Cavaliers, Band, Reveliers, and Cheerleaders!!

Tardy Policy Students are expected to be in their assigned classrooms when the tardy bell rings. Each student is allowed six tardies per semester, and each of those six tardies is a warning. The purpose of the warnings is to help students deal with mishaps in the hall, bad weather, heavy traffic, etc. When a student exceeds six tardies, the student will begin receiving conse-quences from their Assistant Princi-pal. Tardies will start over after each semester. Students seen intentionally being tardy may have all tardy privi-leges revoked and consequences ele-vated. Students who drive to school may have additional consequences including suspension of parking and/or loss of parking privileges. LUNCH DROP-OFF POLICY: Safety is the upmost importance for our students. For the safety of our students, all lunches brought in to school for your student will need to be signed in at the front office. Lunches will be taken to the AP office for the students to pick-up. There will be NO food deliveries accepted by any outside vendor. Our students know that the AP office is the location to pick up items. Thank you for your help and cooperation.

CPHS What Is Your Best?
Take a moment and ponder this question. Are you giving life your best? When you think
about your studies, job, family, friends, attitudes are you giving your best. Do you really know
what your best is?
Video
Cavalier Challenge: When it comes to working toward dreams and goals we all need a de-
termined focus and it helps to have people in our corner cheering us on. Your
challenge is threefold. 1. Find friends to help encourage you to stick with your goals.
2. Be an encourager to someone so that they also can keep going. 3. Look at your goals,
identify where you need to dig deep. Keep moving, give more, don't stop, give you
all –your best. You can make your end zone.

public high school leaders in the Lone Star College Service Area. The program is offered at no cost to the participant.
The community-based program, sponsored by Lone Star College, offers high school sophomores and
juniors the opportunity to become better informed of the critical issues affecting the community where they live
and work. The program also provides a unique opportunity to help prepare area youth for responsible citizenship
while they develop crucial leadership skills. More information, as well an

Don't miss Puffs, the fall black box comedy. For seven years a certain boy wizard went to a certain Wizard School and conquered evil.
This, however, is not his story. This is the story of the Puffs... who just happened to be there too. A tale for anyone who has never been destined to save the world.
Seating is very limited for Puffs. Shows are September 29 and 30 and October 1 and 2 at 7:00pm in the College Park Black Box (Room 1408.) Mark your calendars! Tickets will be available at eventbrite.com and twcptheatre.com in early September.
The busiest month
of the marching
band season is
October – lovingly
referred to as “Bandtober”! It's hectic, it's
demanding, but oh so incredibly rewarding!
Our "Bandtober" fundraiser kicked off
September 1st, and our band & guard
students have the whole month of
September to find as many sponsors as
they can to try and fill their calendar.
Everyone knows how hard CP band kids
work - encourage them to keep up that hard
work throughout Bandtober by sponsoring
them the dollar amount for a date on their
calendar! Thank you for supporting CP
Band!

Don't miss Clue: Onstage!, the fall main stage
comedy. The classic board game is brought to life
in Clue: On Stage! Six guests are invited to a dinner
party thrown by an anonymous host. They are given
aliases--Colonel Mustard, Mrs. White, Mr. Green,
Mrs. Peacock, Professor Plum, and Miss Scarlet.
Though discouraged from revealing personal infor-
mation, it is soon discovered that all of them have
fallen victim to the same blackmailer, their very host
of the evening. Each is presented with a weapon and
an option: pay their extortionist double or kill the
innocent butler. What follows is a madcap,
slapstick evening full of murder, mystery, and laughs
as they seek to puzzle out the culprit amongst
criminals.
October 20, 21, 22, and 23 at 7pm for ticket information click here.
Just one week to go until our first competition and we
have never been so ready! We are looking forward to our stadium rehearsal this weekend, and can't wait to get out there on Saturday
night, loud and proud, supporting our football
team against Klein! Awwww CP!
