SLW Desired Outcomes• To build a common understanding of and

commitment to servant leadership. • To collaborate various ideas for student activities

and projects that can be utilized during the school year.

• To develop leadership skills.• To gain an understanding of the student

networking system, and of the responsibilities and duties of the members

• To expand awareness, understanding, and utilization of the student networking system.

Service ProjectA Service Project Fair was conducted. Student

leaders participated in presentations by various non-profit organizations:

- Ground UP- Hawaii Youth Conservation Corps- Reynolds Recycling- Family Programs Hawaii

Service Project (Cont.)- American Heart Association- Lokahi - Make a Wish Foundation- Parent Teacher Student Organization- Special Olympics- Hawaii Humane Society

Other Activities• Installation of 2010-2011 HSSC Representatives:

- Incoming Representatives took the oath of office July 17, 2010.

• OSCARs Awards: - Schools who submitted a portfolio on their student activities program for the school year were recognized.

Evaluation• Participants completed a conference

evaluation survey• At the end of each day student and adult

planners had a debriefing and evaluating session.
