What’s the issue?

• Teachers are inquisitive about technology• Have time constraints• How do we find

solutions?

How can we learn about technology from each other?

Teachers were inquiring about many of these applications:

• Teachers could make time to play & familiarize themselves with new technologies

• Work together/Share ideas• Build projects/activities/lessons• Interdepartmental initiatives• Created avenues to increase dialogue during

the week – spontaneously

Student Outcomes

Teacher learning = Student learning• Learning from personal interest• Student focused• Motivating/Autonomous• Modeling/enthusiasm/interest• 21st Century skills• Shift focus of learning – Active vs Passive

What’s next?

• Awakened curiosities – continue during self-directed ProD next year

• Build projects/lessons/activities using new digital literacies
