Lesley GarrettPatron, Bradford International OrchestralConcert Season
Welcome to the 149th Bradford International Orchestral Concert Season and the 27th Chamber Season.
As we embark upon a new season ofworld-class classical music at St George’s Hall and Bradford Cathedral, I would once again like to thank you for your continued support of our international concert season here in Bradford.
We present an exciting range of concerts for you this season with the Russian State Philharmonic, Brussels Philharmonic,St Petersburg Symphony and Berne Symphony Orchestra. We also welcome back our resident orchestra The Hallé for three concerts, including one conducted by Sir Mark Elder in March 2015, which is the 150th year since The Hallé fi rst visitedSt George’s Hall.
We hope you, your friends and family continue to enjoy concerts at St George’s Hall, the UK’s premiere concert hall and in Bradford’s beautiful Cathedral.

For a third year I am thrilled to have been asked by Bradford Theatres to be Patron of the Bradford International Orchestral Concert Season 2014/15. I am delighted that they have extended my patronage for a further year as the programme for this season is truly exceptional.
St George’s reputation as a jewel of a Concert Hall attracts performers from all corners of the globe who know its crystal clear acoustic is an experience all musicians treasure.
As well as international orchestras such as the Russian State Philharmonic and Berne Symphony Orchestra, I am delighted that the Hallé Orchestra, which has long been a good friend of Bradford and St George’s, are performing on three separate occasions this season.
For those who prefer a more intimate Chamber experience, the magnifi cent Bradford Cathedral will be hosting concerts featuring artists as varied as pianist John Lill and cellist Leonard Elschenbroich.
I very much hope that you will join me in supporting the Bradford International Orchestral Season which continues to attract the very best national and international artists.
See you there!
