I’m submitting two requisitions today

One is for new nonfiction titles.

(I reduced the original order by half to save money. We need the books, but I know money is tight. Also, PTA agreed to pay for this year’s fiction titles. I understand the district’s financial constraints- but a library withers and dies without investment.)

One is for two online databases.

(These two databases cover five content areas: Science, Math, Computers, Geography, and World Cultures. This requisition is in direct response to the requests of the staff as seen in the surveys.)

But perhaps more importantly, the quote

that we received to update the library

software to Destiny is going to expire soon.

Without a software upgrade, students and staff cannot access and search library resources

on demand.

We need to step forward, for our

students.

Thank you for your time and consideration.
