• Used for– Heating wood stoves– Cooking– Transportation– Electric power production

• Provides 3-4% of primary energy for the United States

• Contained of scrap tires and plastic containers snapped together

• Laid down like Lego’s

• Easy to work with

• Any curves could be cut and extra is put in recycle so all of it is used

• Filter pollutants and carbon dioxide of the air

• Insulates the sound

• Collects air and passes it up to the house
