• We share our experiences, tips and knowledge about starting a stuttering organization.

• Target Public: Everyone interested in making a local, regional or national stuttering association. 

• PS Elsa Youth Meeting 2011 was the start

FIRST STEPS

• Which form? Legal form or not?• How to chose a name?• How to chose a logo?

• How to chose board members?• In general: president (aka chair), secretary, 

treasurer + ordinary members• with trial period!• vice-chair is optional, but is a good idea• webmaster!!

STUTTERING MUSIC

• Nationwide media attention• stuttering music for one full hour• advertised the program for a whole week before

• they made a top 10...  • Millions of people heard this music (5 radio stations, 5 

TV-stations...) => they heard about ISAD and our message

• For one day, on the 22nd of October 2012, stuttering was 'cool' and 'hot’
