EXPOSURE“Correct�exposure�may�be�defined�as�an�exposure�that�achieves�the�effect�
the�photographer�intended”�
Exposure�is�the�culmination�of�all�the�settingsaphotographerusestotakeaphotograph.Thetermcomesfromfilmcameras,forexamplewhenyoutookaphotoyouwould‘expose’�the�film�to�light,andthatwouldallowyoutocreateanimageonthefilm.Theamountoflightyouletintothecamera,thelengthoftimeyouexposethefilmandthetypeoffilmyouusewouldallhaveaneffectonhowthefinishedphotowouldlook.Settingsondigitalcamerasworkinalmostthesameway,howeveryougetinstantresultssoyoucanimproveyourphotographyquicker.
