Create a pecha kucha presentation for a client

20 slides X 20 seconds per slide

Learning objectives11 Apply graphic design principles to

a real world task.

44 Use visual tropes (metonymy, synechdoche, etc.) to convey ideas

55 Familiarize students with audience and market research databases.

You are part of a creative team that has been contracted by a client to develop a 30-second commercial. As a first step, you have been asked to deliver a pitch, in Pecha Kucha format.

You have two goals:

11 Present your idea using audio and video.

22 Persuade the client that your approach is the best one, considering their objectives, requirements, and target audience.

Deliverables

11 One presentation per group.

22 One project memorandum per individual.

11 Pick a project from the list.

22 Apply design principles covered in class.

33 Use each image only once.

44 You can only use images that (a) you created, (b) are in the public domain, (c) have a creative commons license, (d) were provided to you by the instructor.
