Big Picture

Pre-Sukkot: Focus on the דינים associated with the holidays.

Post Sukkot: Students will master the skills section of the student workbook and apply these skills to various texts in Shas as well as those sugyot that discuss the Moadim.

Post-Pesach: In depth introduction to Gemara learning.

Vocabulary & Reading Skills

Shout Outs- Key vocabulary that students come across in their learning of a text. Bi-weekly assessments on shout outs.

Lessons revolve around a specific text so students have exposure to all types of texts in פה שבעל .תורה

Workbook is in עברית to support our Safah program

Technology

Haiku- Post files, assignments, due dates, and updates for students and parents

ClassDojo: System for students to monitor their classroom behavior in detail

Chromebooks: When the students receive their devices, we will begin utilizing a variety of web-based apps that will enhance learning and collaboration

Bonyaich Resources: Library of games, stories, multimedia presentations, and interactive projects that aid the class lessons.

Flipped Classroom: Students will watch videos for homework that teach basic concepts necessary to work on projects in class the following day.
