Hotel Client: Marriott

BACKGROUND

AVIAREPS was tasked with raising awareness of Marriott Hotels amongst travel trade professionals

from Russia and Kazakhstan

We organized and facilitated an online road show to educate tourism professionals on Marriott and its

programs, and to help establish new relationships for the hotel chain

SOLUTION

We were responsible for the design and build of an Online Academy platform and the development of its

content

We prepared training materials, encouraged registration through the offer of prize draws, and awarded

diplomas to participants who completed the course

The Academy comprised two days of presentations in our virtual meeting room, with six webinars in total

RESULTS

650 guests from across Russia and Kazakhstan registered, and 250 attended each of our six webinars

Off the back of the event, Profi Travel agreed to distribute Marriott’s special offers through its database

of 85,000 contacts

109 people graduated from Marriott’s “Hotel Excellence” program

Hotel Client: Crowne Plaza

BACKGROUND

Crowne Plaza is the first international hotel in Shanghai’s fast-growing Baoshan district

Our brief was to increase demand and secure bookings from Korean customers

SOLUTION

AVIAREPS formed a strategic partnership with Mode Tour – one of the largest wholesale agencies in

Korea – to increase awareness of Crowne Plaza’s offer

Our sales team targeted Korea’s leisure and package tour markets, and secured coverage for the sales

campaign in over 1,000 retail agencies

We organized sales promotions via TV shopping channels, e-commerce sites, and blogger FAM trips

AVIAREPS also handled agent inquiries and urgent requests in real-time

RESULTS

Korean sales increased from 48 to 1,867 room nights per month over the 18 month campaign period

Over 70% of the increase in sales was achieved through online channels

Over 1,000 room nights were sold following a one hour shopping channel promotion

5-star hotels in 31 countries, and more than 25 properties under development. AVIAREPS was appointed as

Four Season’s corporate PR agency in Japan in 2002, and has been carrying out comprehensive Public

Relations programs to raise the profile of the brand, targeting high-end Japanese travelers since then.
