Company background
ASSA Trans Caucasus based in Georgia, where the Black Sea port of Poti serving
as gateway on the cross road of the important East-West transport route, which was
part of ancient trade route as early as 2000 B.C. Strategic port location provides
access to relevant international market for countries such as landlocked Armenia, oil
rich Azerbaijan and Georgia indeed. The goods also transported up to Central Asia
countries (Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan) efficiently passing
Caspian Sea by rail ferries. Moreover, during last few years the containerized
humanitarian aid delivered up to Afghanistan, shipped from Europe and USA.
Our company incorporated soon after collapse of soviet system and free market
economy allowance to run private enterprises. Company introduced in 2006, but
started with new brand name as "ASSA Trans Caucasus" after acquisition and taking
over in 2010. Our main activities are Maritime Agency, Freight Forwarding and
Inspection Survey, limited by only our region. It's efficient, effective and customer-
oriented company, leaded by team of shipping professionals whose working attitude
and unblemished reputation respected among local shipping industry.
We are large enough to handle work of any size or nature, yet small enough to
provide a single point of contact from start to finish, to ensure your business needs
are met effectively.

worldwide out of 183 economies. Global Corruption Barometer (EU) 2011 ranked Georgia number 8 which is next to
