• During the Summer of 2008 I worked as an intern for Fentress Architects, which is located in Denver, Colorado.

• I worked on AutoCAD drawings, computer modeling, administration and product selection for the redevelopment of the Raleigh-Durham Airport located in North Carolina.

•• This is a sketch I worked on showing an extension of the roof at the curbside.

• The extension was necessary to allow for proper drainage of storm runoff.

• During my internship I also worked in the model shop making laser-cut and plastic mold models for the Colorado University medical center campus located in Denver, Colorado.

• I also traveled to building sites to survey and document the different aspects of the construction site.

•• This is a sketch I worked on for adding stone at the sill of the curtainwall at The Raleigh-Durham Airport in North Carolina

• 2nd year design project in West Chelsea, New York

• Design incorporated New York City’s Highline Park, a former elevated freight railroad that has been redesigned and planted as an aerial greenway

• Building included the Drawing Center Museum as well as a residential tower and itness center

•• Inspiration was taken from Frank Lloyd Wright’s Price Tower

• 3rd year basswood model project

• Design for a beach villa on the island of Little Dellis Cay located in the Turk and Caicos islands

• Coral rock, wood and glass were the primary materials used to blend organic and modern st and modern styles and to allow for the best views of the picturesque island

• 1st year design project of a small loggia and garden located in Key West, Florida

• Creating a public plaza for residents to meet as well as a relaxing atmosphere to enjoy the lush landscape of Key West were the primary design goals.

•• The front elevation of the loggia mimics the residential homes that surround the site while the garden is full of plantings and landscape features.

• A 2nd year model project of a proposal for a new skin for our residential dorm building at The University of Miami

• My proposal included rolling wooden screens and the addition of balconies made of colored glass railings.

• The colors of the design were inspired by the tropical landscape on the University campus.

• A design project on the Tiber River embankment while I was studying abroad in Rome, Italy

• A master plan that included stall structures as well as other recreational activities, providing order and cohesiveness to the temporary summer festival was the main design objective.

• The design also increased connectivity on the level of the embankment th embankment through the proposal of two bridges, a pavilion and public plaza

• Development was to be located adjacent to a light-rail station that led from the suburb of Summerville into Charleston

• Design included residential, commercial and mixed use building design as well public space and agricultural landscape
