National Council of Fruit & Vegetable Nutrition CoordinatorsMembers of the Council consist of Fruit and Vegetable Nutrition Coordinators (formally known as 5 A Day Coordinators) representing F&V programming within a U.S. state, district, territory, and commonwealth.

Council members may also be Designees, Expanded, and Associate members of ASTPHND.

National Council of Fruit & Vegetable Nutrition Coordinators

Vision Passionate and successful coordinators lead state

and national efforts to promote optimal heath through increased fruit and vegetable consumption.

Mission To provide Coordinators with leadership opportunities

and to serve as an organized voice in decisions that affect national fruit and vegetable public health planning.

Council’s Strategic Priorities

Provide critical support to Coordinators.

Communicate a consistent identity and image.

Develop and maintain effective advocacy efforts.

Strengthen Council effectiveness and infrastructure.

There are four committees of the Council:

Election is in progress and Council leadership is seeking participation on committees.
