Steven Paul "Steve" Jobs (February 24, 1955 – October 5, 2011) was an American inventor. He was co-founder, chairman, and chief executive officer of Apple Inc.

In 1970, Wozniak became friends with Steve Jobs, when Jobs worked for the summer at a company where Wozniak was working on a mainframe computer.

On April 1, 1976, Jobs and Wozniak formed Apple Computer. Wozniak quit his job at Hewlett-Packard and became the vice president of Apple.
