Tired of seeing this?Tired of seeing this?

Would you rather see this?Would you rather see this?

This is the center 6 rows of a field which was planted on same date, with the same hybrid, same planter, same location and with the same field conditions as the one on the cover. The difference.....Track Till.

TrackTill is designed to eliminate the compaction caused by planters.

Studies have shown that compaction caused by planter and tractor wheels (known as the pinch-row effect) can reduce yield by more than 50% in the 6 center rows. An average farm can lose up to a total of 15 bushel per acre due to pinch row compaction. If you have ever planted in wet conditions you know how much compaction can hurt your bottom line.

Read the entire DuPont study on wheel compaction here.

Creating the ideal soil environment is an essential component of increasing crop yields.

The Iowa State University plant height data (below) and roots (above) show how TrackTill works acre upon acre to restore the compacted root zone and save you an estimated $25 per acre

Using patented vertical tine tillage, TrackTill relieves and fractures the compacted layers of soil up to depths of 12”.

Requiring less than 15 horsepower per unit, the rolling tine system leaves the seedbed untouched and the soil surface level. This allows for uniform emergence and increased water infiltration. The 9 inch pockets left from the tines allow an ideal air and nutrient exchange through the fractured side walls and an enriched area ideal for deep root growth.

Watch a short video of TrackTill in action.

The patent pending TrackTill units, mount directly behind each wheel on the planter. Each individual roller requires around 800 lbs of

down pressure which means up to 3,200 lbs less weight on your planter wheels and 3,200 lbs used to relieve the compacted soil layers. By incorporating adjustable down pressure, it’s possible to customize the tine depth and performance for every soil type and condition. Then, you can forget about rocks and gullies because the tines will float over any unseen obstacles.
