Retiring this Summer 2015
Bid Adieu to Dr. Lawrence Roman, Accounting Professor at
Eastern Campus. With accomplishments too numerous to encom-
pass all, we honor this gentleman and scholar as a distinguished
faculty member having earned the 2009 Eastern Campus Deans
Award for Classroom excellence and 2008 Ralph M. Besse Award
for Teaching Excellence. Dr. Roman has mentored both faculty and
students, been involved with many professional organizations, served on special
task forces including Curriculum Development, Quality Matters, contract committees,
Faculty Senate and has volunteered his time and efforts at Chamber of Commerce
events, helped promote support for college levies and assisted at Tri-C’s volunteer
tax clinics over the years. He advanced the online Accounting degree and course
offerings. We wish him well and hope he will return to teach part-time in the future.
