Weavers coat these motifs with gold, silver as well as copper.

Chanderi sarees generally come in soft pastel shades, however, bright and vivid combinations of bright colours such as red, black, pink, fuchsia, turquoise are also in trend.

The unique feature of Chanderi fabric is transparency or sheer texture.

Weavers use single Filature type of yarn, which makes Chanderi sarees transparent and lightweight.
