MEMO
TO: STAFF FROM: SCOTT LIVINGSTON, NEWS DIRECTOR RE: AP AWARDS
4/24/07
Congratulations! We once again had another strong showing with this year’s AP Awards. We won 4 categories, including Best News Operation and Best Sports Operation and Best Weather forecasting with Steve Fertig. We have won Best News Operation 14 of the last 16 years. We only entered one story per category, which makes these honors even more impressive. Each of us should be proud because these awards are a reflection of the hard work and commitment to our product. I’m very proud of everyone’s dedication to making us the best news operation in Baltimore.
FOX45’s News department has
won over 70 Emmy Awards in the past 10 years
