What sequences do you know?

In maths, we call a list of numbers in order a sequence.

Each number in a sequence is called a term.

If terms are next to each other they are referred to as consecutive terms.

When we write out sequences, consecutive terms are usually separated by commas.

• I need 3 girls and 3 boys.• The class needs to make them swap places using HOPS or SLIDES!• I need one person to keep a tally of the hops and slides.• You need to do this is as little moves as possible.

• In pairs, one person move the frogs and the other person count the number of hops and slides.
