Graphic Novels
Foundation English Class.
To help students who cannot read written text the teacher can present the text digitally and take advantage of a number of scaffolds such as hyperlinks, text to speech and hypertext which can simplify or chunk the information, making it accessible to the students (Boyle, 2010).
Furthermore digital books can have video links and prompts such as questions making them more interactive and engaging (Boyle, 2010).

Without differentiation students with a learning difficulties usually have difficulty reading because their disability prevents comprehension of the material and in turn affects their academic outcomes (Boyle, 2010).

Assistive Technology, “enhances differentiated instructional strategies and can provide the learner with the necessary learning support” (Gargiulo, 2009, p. 166).
“Teachers who do not take advantage of technology are limiting their teaching in terms of pedagogy used and assessment of learning” (Boyle, 2010, p. 377).

Final Word
The true value of iPads for learning lies in not learning to use iPads but in using iPads to learn.
For most people, technology makes things easier. For children with learning difficulties,
technology makes things POSSIBLE.
