• Cost of seeds and distribution : 10,000 (INR)• Cost of fertilizers and maintenance : 5,000 (INR)

• Profit after vegetable distribution : 150,000 (INR)

Lowlights and Highlights:

• Actual seed cost was 3,200 (INR). Seeding was done at Selaqui on leased land and then transferred to Fatehpur which increased initial seeding cost.

• Chief Development Officer, Rudraprayag was invited for seed distribution program.• Dr. Anil Kishore Joshi is appointed as a consultant for this program.• Orders are flowing from Rudraprayag, Srinagar and farmers are selling cabbage at 20

rupees per kg.

Over 32 farmers have shown interest for phase three!!

UANA is committed to empower farmers of Uttarakhand and would also provide continuous support to create sustainable competitive advantage. We believe this small step of Fatehpur farmers would prove a giant leap for Uttarakhand.

We are being noticed!

Reliance Foundation visited our site at Fatehpur with 34 farmers of Uttarkashi, to understand how we are making a difference at district Rudraprayag! Dr. Anil Joshi, Consultant for our Fatehpur project would also work with Reliance Foundation at Uttarkashi to replicate our success story!

THDC (Tehri Hydro Development Corporation Limited) also works for rural development and agreed to copy our project at Deen village in Tehri Garhwal.
