Ames, Iowa Site Summary ¾ SPH historically present in 5 monitor wells ranging in thickness from 0.07 to 1.92 feet (within ~3 years prior to SURFAC ® ) covering an area of ~600 square feet. ¾ Aquifer mainly present in clayey sand aquifer. ¾ Groundwater table present at 7 to 11 feet below grade. ¾ SURFAC ® conducted in 6 field days during June and July 2009. ¾ SPH was removed and site received “No Further Action”.
