Program  Overview    •  Members  that  enroll  in  the  Green  Business  Bureau  program  and  

receive  the  GBB  Welcome  Package.  It  includes:  –  Display  decal  for  your  business  loca;on  –  Online  seal  for  your  website,  which  will  link  to  your  GBB  

personal  landing  page  so  customers  can  learn  more  about  your  green  commitment  

–  Brief  welcome  video  that  you  can  share  with  your  staff  –  Environmental  Compliance  Poster  for  your  office  –  Subscrip;on  to  the  GBB  newsleQer,  along  with  a  men;on  of  

your  company's  new  membership  status  •  Members  take  a  brief  assessment  survey  and  get  credit  for  green  

ac;vi;es  your  business  has  already  completed.  •  They  then  complete  five  simple  prerequisite  ini;a;ves  to  reach  the  

Green  Aware  ;er  of  cer;fica;on!  •  As  members  complete  each  ini;a;ve  on  a  personal  page  and  

update  their  profile,  they  receive  credit/points.    As  they  complete  ini;a;ves,  the  system  will  automa;cally  suggest  new  ini;a;ves  that  make  sense  for  their  business  or  industry.  

•  Members  earn  points  to  advance  to  the  next  GBB  ;er  and  enjoy  even  more  membership  perks  while  helping  the  environment  and  their  boQom  line.

• #56:  Replace  regular  light  bulbs  with  Compact  Fluorescent  Light  bulbs  (CFL).

Recycled  toner  costs  on  average  $50  less  than  regular  

toner,  saving  an  average  business  $500  per  year  

Aerators  consume  126  gallons  of  water  less  per  month  than  normal  faucets,  saving  an  average  business  10,000  

gallons  per  year
