Group assignment

• Divide into groups by grade levels (3-4)• Create a lesson appropriate for your

students using the poem by Maya Angelou• Plans will include product grid description• Incorporate at least two styles of learning• Add three projects for multiple

intelligences• Include method of assessment

Project participants

• Write a one page letter expressing interest in participating.

• Describe what part of the program you are interested in.

• Include any special skills or experience you possess that will contribute to the project.

• Indicate if you are willing to participate in an area outside of your first choice.
