Massage Book is by far the most popular online platform for massage therapists and bodywork professionals in the US. As such, it offers an all-in-one business management solution that is trusted by the ABMP, America’s leading organization for massage professionals. Features include easy to use tools for practice management, online scheduling, email campaigns and intake forms among others.

constituted a major business risk and therefore we recommended to reconstruct the platform from scratch.

After their previous frustrations, Massage Book initially was reluctant at best. Their trust, however, did pay off quickly and the results were astonishing. Within three months, our five-man team (with the help of two PHP architects on the customer’s side) completely recreated the functionality on which previously, dozens of workers had spent almost two years. Since then, our involvement has turned into a strategic partnership that already lasts for almost four years.

With a strong vision and backed with money from investors, Massage Book at first relied on an Indian company to handle the technology part of their startup. However, development soon became a bottleneck. Massage Book tried to combat the constant delays and setbacks by adding more engineers to their remote team, but even after two years, they had received almost no deliverable results. Finally, Massage Book was referred to Binary Studio by one of our previous customers.
