Nursing Projects

Initiated and implemented a new product trial in 2014 at MUSC for the Bard Dignishield Fecal Management System to replace the Convatec FMS being utilized. After a successful trial period, the product was voted in to replace the Convatec FMS, increasing the standard of care using evidence-based practice and saving the hospital thousands of dollars per year.

Introduced a nursing online shift-bid proposal in 2012 before the MUSC Nursing Operations Committee to address nursing staff shortages across all nursing departments in the MUSC network. After completing research and proposing a plan, I received many positive remarks, but was also met with pushback due to the timing of the implementation of the new Epic Charting interchange.
