The Alumni Association is here to keep you connected to your alma mater and fellow Warriors through professional development /continuing education workshops, career networking opportunities, giving opportunities, and recognition of outstanding alumni, as well as a varied blend of social, athletic, and student-related activities.

• Be sure to update your contact information and request an alumni card. The Warrior for Life alumni card gives you full access to all the benefits of the LCSC Alumni Association.

• Promote L-C whenever you have the opportunity.

• Attend at least one of the alumni events in your area.

• Assist in student recruitment through the New Student Recruitment Office.

• Become an active member of the alumni chapter in your area.

• Stay connected and network with other alums by joining the Lewis-Clark State Alumni & Friends Facebook fan page.

• Hire L-C students for summer internships and hire fellow alums for permanent positions.

• Read LCSC Journey Magazine.

Honoring Lewis-Clark State College Alumni Celebration of Stars – Alumni Awards EventThe annual Celebration of Stars – Alumni Awards Event began in 1973 when the first Alumni of the Year award was presented to Dean Ellis. Held each May, the event now recognizes alumni and friends of the College in seven categories.

Alumni of the Year Award Presented to an alumnus/alumna who has enriched the lives of others through their generous gifts of time and talent, their involvement with civic, charitable and social causes and their ability to inspire.

Marion Shinn Lifelong Achievement Award Recognizes outstanding contributions of an alumnus/alumna who has shown long-term dedication and service to the College and their community. The board chose to honor Dr. Marion Shinn for his distinguished record of service and achievement, by naming the award in his honor.

Excellence in Education AwardRecognizes superior achievement in the field of education. The recipient serves as a role model and sets standards of excellence to which others can aspire.

Aletha Pabst Award Pays tribute to someone who is not an alumnus, but has made significant contributions to Lewis-Clark State College.

Rising Star AwardsRecognizes significant contributions by an individual in their field of endeavor, whether through professional achievement or community service. The recipient is aged 40 or under, and sets an inspirational example for future young alumni. Spirit Award for Extraordinary ServicePresented to an individual that builds pride and spirit on campus and who consistently demonstrates extraordinary loyalty, commitment, dedication and service to Lewis-Clark State College and community.

Outstanding Coeur d’Alene Alumni Award Presented to an LCSC Coeur d’Alene alumnus/alumna who has enriched the lives of others through their generous gifts of time and talent, their involvement with civic, charitable and social causes and their ability to inspire.
