Aludium’s automotive trim products lead the decorative finishes market due to their excellent surface quality and unrivalled ability to respond to bright and anodised surface treatments.

The metallurgical structure of our automotive trim products facilitates processes such as drawing, forming and assembly. This is achieved by applying Aludium’s sophisticated manufacturing technology to high purity alloys. All of our automotive products meet the exacting standards required for automotive trim applications.

Our automotive trim products are manufactured at Aludium’s plants in Alicante (Spain) and Castelsarrasin (France). These mills offer dedicated development teams and a track record of automotive experience, combined with intelligent supply-chain concepts. Both mills hold ISO and TS certifications and are global leaders in speciality products. Aludium’s specialty aluminium products are in high demand in sectors including lighting, cosmetics, decoration and automotive.

According to DIN 67530, ASTM D523 and ISO 2813 standards, measured at 20º with reflectometer in rolling direction. These values show guaranteed minimum gloss on raw samples in hard temper. They can vary strongly dependent on alloy, temper and dimensions.

typical specular gloss values from 70% up to 85%.

Our products meet the most demanding surface

treatment requirements such as brightening, anodizing,

lacquering, brushing, laser engraving, lithography or

silk printing.

In addition to surface finish and reflectivity, many

applications demand material with optimised

mechanical properties. Aludium provides aluminium

alloys with the necessary metallurgical structure and

mechanical properties to meet the demands of our

customer's forming processes including deep drawing,

bending, stamping, flanging, roll forming and

hydroforming.

We can deliver our products with surface protection

such as interleaved paper or plastic film, customised to

your individual requirements. Products are delivered
