    Concrete photographs are not a semantic medium, but aesthetic objects:they are not represented, but presented, not reproduced, but produced.

    They are objects made of photographic material. They do not want toillustrate anything; they do not want to represent anything. They arenothing but themselves: objects referring to themselves: they areindependent, authentic, autonomous, autogenic: photographs ofphotography.
