Day 1: Arrival Belgrade (Serbia)Clutch Moto Tours team will meet you at the airport of Belgrade and transfer you to your hotel. We will officially start the tour with a briefing in the hotel at 15:00 and a welcome dinner. Belgrade is the capital of Serbia and one of the oldest cities on the continent. Today Belgrade is a blend of high culture, fun-loving spirit and vibrant atmosphere. You can sense this lust for life on Skardarlija, the Bohemian street, or on traditional party boats Splavovi, that are moored on the Danube and Sava rivers. Belgrade’s fortress dominates the cityscape, while orthodox churches and palaces for the Serbian royalty cropped up after Serbia won independence in the 19th century.

Day 2: Belgrade - Kopaonik (Serbia)After a good breakfast, we will start riding South to the hill Oplenac and the city of Topola, famous for the St. George’s Church where the Mausoleum of the Serbian Royal Family of Karadjordjević is located. We will continue our way over scenic mountain roads with fast twisties, small villages and unspoiled nature up the Mount Kopaonik (2017 m), the most famous ski resort in Serbia. It will be a perfect place to relax after spending a day in a lively capital.

Day 3: Kopaonik - Skopje (North Macedonia)A fantastic twisty road will lead us down and South from Mount Kopaonik to the lowland, where the area will get more flat and the road will become faster. Today we will cross the border to Macedonia and ride to Skopje, its capital. Macedonia is a very diverse country, with more than 50 lakes and 34 mountains higher than 2000 meters.

Day 4: Skopje - Prizren (Kosovo) - Shkodër (Albania)Today we will be crossing boarders again, first to one of the youngest independent countries in the world, Kosovo, that split form Serbia in 2008, and later to Albania, one of the smallest countries in Europe. On our way we will visit Prizren, which is located on the slopes of the Shar Mountains and it is considered to be the cultural capital of Kosovo. After lunch we will continue towards Albania to Skader Lake, which is the largest fresh water lake on the Balkan Peninsula.

Day 5: Shkodër - Kotor (Montenegro) - Dubrovnik (Croatia)We will start riding along Skadar Lake, which is 44 km long and 14 km wide, towards Montenegro, where we will cross its mountains before we will descend down to the sea level and the old town of Kotor, known as a city of traders and famous sailors. We’ll be riding a spectacular road of many switchbacks with some breathtaking views of the Bay Kotor. The Medieval architecture and numerous monuments of cultural heritage have made Kotor a UNESCO listed World Heritage Site. We will end our day in Dubrovnik, known as the Pearl of the Adriatic.

Day 6: Rest day Dubrovnik (Croatia)Dubrovnik is one of the world’s most magnificent walled cities and one of the dreamiest old town in Croatia. In recent years, also due to the fame of Game of Thrones and Star Wars, it has evolved into a hot spot among travelers and celebrities like Richard Gere, Kevin Spacey, Jay-Z, Beyoncé and many others. You may take a walk along the City Walls for a spectacular views of the Old Town or just sit on Stradun, its vibrant main street, and enjoy Dubrovnik’s hospitality.

Day 7: Dubrovnik - Mostar - Sarajevo (Bosnia and Herzegovina)In the morning we will follow the scenic wavy coastal road heading up until we will cross the border to Bosnia and Hercegovina, where we will follow the narrow Neretva canyon up to Mostar and Sarajevo. Mostar is most famous for its beautiful historic Ottoman-style Old Bridge over the River Neretva and its enchanting old town center, but also because it suffered one of the heaviest bomb attacks of all Bosnian cities during the civil war of 1992-1995. In that period The Old Bridge along with many other import-ant buildings were badly damaged. However, nowadays a significant portion of the city has been successfully rebuilt and visitors today are surprised to see that this war-torn city is a lively and beautiful destination once again. In the afternoon we will continue to Sarajevo, the intriguing and cosmopolitan capital of BIH. Surrounded by mountains, Sarajevo is a singular city with an enticing East-meets-West vibe all of its own. It was once renowned as a religious melting pot, earning it the nickname ‘the Jerusalem of Europe’. Within a few blocks you can still find large Catholic and Orthodox cathedrals, Ashkenazi and Sephardic synagogues, and numerous mosques. During the 20th centu-ry, two violent events thrust Sarajevo into the world’s consciousness: the assassination which sparked WWI, and the brutal almost-four-year siege of the city in the 1990s. The scars of the longest siege in modern European history are still painfully visible, yet Sara-jevo is once again a wonderful place to visit.

Day 8: Sarajevo - Belgrade (Serbia)Just after we will leave the city behind, the real riding fun will start! This will be the day of the corners, 250 kilometers of twisty roads without much traffic. The road will take us through some of the most remote areas of both, Bosnia and Serbia. On the way to the border, just before entering Serbia, we will stop in Višegrad to see the UNESCO Ottoman Mehmed Paša Sokolović Bridge, which was popularized by Nobel prize winning Ivo Andrić in his novel The Bridge on the Drina. After crossing the border, we will visit a traditional village build by the Serbian film director Emir Kusturica for his film Life Is a Miracle. After the lunch, some more twisties awaits us until we will hit the last 90 km section before Belgrade with much more open, straight and faster road.

Day 9: Flight to Munich and transfer to Garmisch-P. BMW Motorrad daysMunich is just 1,5 hours’ flight away from Belgrade. We will catch the morning flight to the Bavarian capital, so after the transfer to the hotel and the check-in, you will have plenty of free time to enjoy BMW Motorrad Days.
