Meeting Notes

During the ninth general meeting of the Spring 2012 semester, the

nominations for the Fall 2012 Executive Board were held. The elections witake place on April 20. Following the nominations, NextEra Energy, a sub-

sidiary of Florida Power & Light (FPL), gave an informative presentation

on opportunities with the growing corporation and energy industry.

The next meeting will be held on April 6, with State Farm presenting

to Finance students, and Crowe Horwath presenting to accounting stu-

dents.

The Chamber of Commerce is lining up volunteers who are so important to the success of

Great Taste of the Grove. are looking for individuals who can work at least oneshift either on Sat.,April 14 or Sun., Apr. 15or both days -- if you have done this before you k

w much fun you will have.s eventfeatures food and drinks from some of the area's finest restaurants, live music, and children's entertainment in Peacock Park.

lunteers are needed at theliquor and beer booths, water and soda, information and ticket booths.e shifts are10:30-1 p.m.; 1:30-4 p.m. and 4-7:30 p.m.

or any reason you are not physically able to help with set up or breakdown, perhaps you can reel ina friend/neighbor/spouse to help us with this ef-.Also please plan to arrive at least 15 minutes before your shift starts and allow sufficient time to park. do ask, however, if yousign up and for any reason have to cancel, that youlet us know at least 48 hours prior to the event
