    Specificity:Sales surface for exchanging and sellinggoods at a barter market.

    Description:A white sales surface (table) is pro-vided. Objects can be placerd andremoved from this surface. A videocamera captures all activity on the

    surface from above. As people placeand take away objects the imagechanges. This shif in colors is detectedas a change in RGB by a Processingprogram. This data is then interpretedin two ways: (1) a screen showing theshifs captured by the camera and (2)an interpretation of the data as HOT(high activity) through red LEDs andCOLD (low activity) through blueLEDs.

    Implementation:

    This interactive system can be used toshowcase the objects available forsale/exchange within a market throughits video output. Projected onto theexterior of the building it can serve as astreaming adverstisement for the itemsfound within. The LED meter aroundthe base of the table enhances the shop-pers experience by allowing people toidentify passive/active,popular/unpopular tables.
