The MSACOFP is an AOA Accredited CME Sponsor providing osteopathic continuing medical education for physicians. The MSACOFP designates this program for a maximum of 26 AOA Category 1-A credits and will report CME and specialty credits commensurate with the extent of the physician’s participation in this activity.

The AAFP has reviewed the 2021 Winter Family Medicine Update and deemed it acceptable for up to 26.00 In-Person, Live (could include online) AAFP Prescribed credit. Term of Approval is from 01/21/2021 to 01/24/2021. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Accreditation Statement and Hours

1. Attendees will log-in to a secure website to complete and submit evaluations and attestation. Your attestation is required in order to award proper CME credit. Without completed attestation, NO CME credit will be awarded.

2. It will be the responsibility of the physician to honestly complete the on-line evaluation and attestation each day.

3. CME data is available to each attendee with a certificate and tally of hours attested to provided on-line. Attendees will have one week to verify correctness.

4. Your CME credits will be reported to the AOA within 90 days.

General Information

Virtual Attendance Information • You will attend this program in a virtual format delivered on-line.

You will need a device with internet access and video and audio capabilities.

• You will have the opportunity during each presentation to ask questions of the speaker via a “chat” function. If the speaker is not available at the time of the presentation, you can submit a question to their contact information and they will respond within one week.

• Links to access the program and how to attest to credits will be sent approximately seven days in advance.

• An email must be provided to attend. • The program will be recorded in its entirety and will be available

to paid attendees for two weeks. CME Attestation must be made by the end of this period.

• The meeting app will include the speakers learning objectives, disclosures and a brief biographical sketch.

• The speaker slides will also be available on the meeting app to view or download.

Grievance Policy

All grievances should be in writing and specify the nature of the grievance. Initially, all grievances should be directed to the MSACOFP and the Executive Director. All grievances will receive an initial response in writing within 30 days of receipt. The MSACOFP will resolve the grievance, if possible. If the participant does not receive a satisfactory response, they must then submit a complaint in writing to the Council on Continuing Medical Education, American Osteopathic Association, 142 East Ontario Street, Chicago, IL 60611.
