Hardy brought just as much shooting andscoring ability as he did swagger. The senioraveraged 22.7 points, 3.3 rebounds and 3.2assists as the energizer for a Lakeview teamthat won District 1-2A and advanced to itssecond straight Class 2A title game and a 30-6record. Hardy is a Division I target.

Some say it’s harder to get back to asecond title game than win the first one.Yes, the Chiefs returned nearly all of theirkey pieces from the 2014 Class 5A champi-ons, but Coleman kept this talented bunchmotivated as NCHS (32-3) made it back tothe title game, losing to Scotlandville.

Lott, a Division I target, was a do-it-allguard as he led the Yellow Jackets (27-6)to the Top 28, the program’s first since1997. Lott averaged 23 points and 12rebounds, but at a bulky 6-foot-2, he alsoguarded the opponent’s biggest player.

Meikle credits former Northwood coachLarry Bagley with him coming to NorthCaddo, but it was Meikle who rebuilt theRebels. He’s guided North Caddo to two Top28 appearances in Class 2A – the first as a No.28 seed after a 3-15 start and the second as aNo. 5 seed, finishing with a 26-4 record. TheRebels have just two other Top 28 appear-ances in program history (1966 and 1969).
