LDIAG stands for Learning Disability Implementation Advisory Group
The LDIAG was set up in 2002 by Jane Hutt who was the Minister for Health and Social Services in Wales at that time.
The group was set up to look at what the Welsh Government was doing about the report ‘Fulfilling the Promises’.
Members of the group are chosen by the Minister.
There are 3 representatives from All Wales People First.
Other members represent parents and carers, social services, health, research and voluntary organisations (like Mencap Cymru, Learning Disability Wales and All Wales Forum of Parents and Carers).
