Some flowers from de Cocoa tree, change into a pods, but most do not.

At the begining the pods are green, but they changes to golden

or reddish color as they get ripe.

The pods need 6 months to ripen!!

Each pod has more than 20 seeds covered with a soft pulp.

The cocoa are bitter

The chocolate is sweet
