Introduction

“Rhythmic gymnastics isthe most beautiful kind

of sport ”

Outwardly, life of young sportsmen seems so easy. But you are not right. It is undoubtedly a hard work to be a champion. Gymnasts (and other sportsmen too) are devoted to their occupation. They say,“It is more than life”; they are determined in their decisions. They are dedicated, persistent and morally strong. Their aim outshines all the temptations which ordinary seduce teenagers and youth. We must admit that it is impossible to imagine a training which lasts nearly 7 hours and competition struggle at an international tournament. But it is normal for these girls who are just 17 years old. So, I am going to present one of them who is a striking example. Her name is Aleksandra Merkulova.

Facts Alexandra Merculova (born 25 November 1995) is a Russian rhythmic gymnast from Kemerovo, Russia. She is the 2010 Youth Olympic Games champion. And last news says that she won a gold medal on the Universiade in Kazan (2013).

Personal life Alexandra is the middle child of five children. She has two elder sisters (Olya and Natasha) and two younger brothers (Savva and Vasiliy). It was not a coincidence that the girl of age three (it is not a joke) took up rhythmic gymnastics. To be honest, I should say that she could not say a word when she tried to do her first exercise. And what is the reason for starting so early? Father wished to bring up a champion. Mother wanted to have an artistic, creative daughter. There was no place for an argument but there was place for compromise. They sent their tiny child to a sport school. The girl immediately came to like sport.

Career The first trainer is Nataliya Ermolaeva. Now Irina Vinner is training Alexandra . Irina Vinner points out that this girl is an extraordinary, talented, unique sportswoman. The crazy girl flames up during her performance. Alexandra lives in a special place for sportsmen (named “Novogorsk”) with other girls. One of their daily trainings lasts nearly 7 hours. But it is not difficult, annoyingor inconvenient obligation for Alexandra. She is convinced that it is only wayto achieve the top of success.

Conclusion

In spite of the difficult schedule, Alexandra and other girls have a lot of friends, bright life and admirers all over the country who try to take after them and look up at them . To sum up my short story, we hope to see our gymnasts at future competitions. We will support them. AndI am sure that the most astonishing feminine sport will be more popular in Russia.
