Florence: Thursday 21st January 2010

04:00 am Time to wake up! Our flightleaves at 6:30am from Stanstead. Just enough time to have an espresso and I’m out the door!

10:00 am It’s a beautiful day in Florence, as we touch down. I look out of the window and see the infamous Duomo. It looks stunning, as we head to the Pitti Bimbo Trade Show, the home of over 500 gorgeous children’s brands.

11:00 amOur first appointment is with Cacharel. We also take a sneak peek at the fabulous Sonia Rykiel and Paul & Joe kid’s range. Two autumn orders placed, five to go!

12:30 pmA quick pit stop for a chocolate Gelato, only one scoop though... Delicious!

1:30 pm We meet the new Paul Smith Kids team. They are keen to do business with us, one of only a handful of retailers worldwide. We’re incredibly excited by the range. Full appointment booked in London.

3:00 pm Junior Gaultier catches our eye, the stand is incredibly busy. Everyone wants Gaultier for

winter 2010, so we seize the moment and place an order.

4:30 pm Late lunch - One Panini down and then on to Victoria Christmas, the fabulous luxury organic brand. Victoria herself is so lovely – we’re a big fan!

7:00 pmOff for a traditional Italian dinner with the girls from Caramel Baby & Child. The perfect end to a hectic but enjoyable day.
