1.0 About AL HADAF

AL HADAF Consultancy has established as an organization of enviable repute it is based in

Emirate of Dubai & following ISO/IEC 17020:2012 Standard we provide a third-party

inspection, physical & mechanical testing of construction & equipment and a better way in

controlling and minimizing health, safety in workplace in order to protect our customers and to

assure to upskill their health and safety knowledge, training and supervision.

Our three sections are as follows:

1.1 Inspection, Testing & Certification

This includes physical and mechanical testing of all types of lifting equipment, machines,

lifting gear as well as pressure vessels, steam boilers and scaffolding structures.

In the Construction Safety mainly:

Tower cranes Mobile cranes Truck mounted cranes Material Hoists / Passenger

Hoists Elevators & escalators Chain - Wire Blocks/ Overhead Hoists Cradle Machines

/ Winches Loaders / Excavators. Scaffolding inspection reports (external scaffold, slab

formwork, mobile scaffold & any other scaffold structure).

In the Industrial safety:

Gantry & E.O.T. crane Jib crane Steam Boilers / Steam Generators

Air Compressors – Receivers Fork Lifts / Reach Trucks Vehicle Lifts

Elevators / Lifts

1.2 Safety Survey & Auditing

This includes the following:

1- Contractor’s site Safety plan.

2- Emergency Escape plan.

3- Safety survey, audit reporting for factories and workshops …etc. and for construction

sites as well, in relation to verify compliance with local guidelines & international

regulations.

4- Equipment evaluation reports for damage & loss evaluation.


It is done to acquaint safety engineers, supervisors, safety representatives & workforce with their

duties under the U.A.E. Ministerial order No. 32 year 1982 & Code of Construction Safety

Practice – Dubai Municipality, which form together part of the ROSPA International Standards

concerning the determination of preventive methods and measures for the protection from risks

at work.

1.3 Safety Training Programs

Includes four different types of courses with major concern to safety, conducted by our firm's

engineers in addition to assistance of well reputed, acting safety managers. It includes practical

training by safety Supervisors in the field.

Major courses are:

• Basic safety course p General safety course pscaffold erecting training course

• Construction sites: Safety Supervisor Duties & responsibilities.

• The participants will get a certificate of completion at the end of course.

The following will be provided upon request:

• Duration of each course.

• Schedule & contents of each course.

• Fees & terms of payment.

• Available facilities.

• Operator Assessments for tower cranes, mobile cranes, cradles …. Etc.

• Other training courses available, like safe welding, firefighting, Etc.

• Participants will get a certificate of course completion & card.


2.0 Inspection Personnel

• Our Inspection staff are well qualified besides to our experienced Inspection Engineers

who have acquired their professional degrees from highly reputable universities.

• Our Inspection staff completely updated in BS Standards and Rules & Regulations in order

to undertake equipment examinations, to keep abreast of the latest, revised and mandatory

requirements.

3.0 Accreditation

1- Accredited by: Dubai Municipality Accreditation Centre to perform inspections within

Dubai. Ref: certificate # (DAC-IB 012)

2- Approved by: TRAKHEES-PCFC (Ports, Customs & Free Zone Corporation) to

perform inspections within Dubai World jurisdiction. This accreditation is given to a

company that meets the requirements covering the areas as Technical Competence,

robust Management System. Ref: certificate # 1247

4.0 Impartiality & Independence

Explicit guidance has been documented by AL HADAF Consultancy for instances where staff

experiences risks of undue pressure from any source, internal or external to the organization,

which could influence the results of assessment.

AL HADAF demonstrates independence to strengthen the confidence of customers by carrying

out inspection work impartially and objectively.

Therefore, AL HADAF, as an inspection body shall be independent of the parties involved in

equipment testing, also as a part of a legal entity that is engaged in design, manufacturer, supply,

install, won, use or maintenance of the items inspected as required.


5.0 Confidentiality

AL HADAF Consultancy has a documented procedure on its Management System concerning

the observance of confidentiality requirements of the customer, by AL HADAF or by any sub-

contractors engaged with it, taking into account any relevant legal requirements.
