Our end of year windup was a great way to finish off the last race of the year. Thanks to Bart & his band for once again keeping us all entertained. A special thanks to Paddy for donating the meat to feed us all - good on ya mate & cheers to everyone who helped organize it. Everyone had plenty of fun, as you can see by the few snaps I took on the day.

We also had our presentation night at the Woodvale Reception Centre next to the Moon & Sixpence. Great food, great company & plenty of fun !

Ive also had some great pic’s sent in of Paul Marrows – Look at him go ! Paul Marrows, aka Holeshot Marrows, was caught recently by our "spy camera" doing some fast laps at a private track on his - just run in 2007 YZ450F (White Knight). Despite the dry conditions, Marrows was on the pace and rolling out the laps in perfect style looking very ominous for the up and coming 2007 season.

** Presidents Report **

Well this is the last Presidents report for the 2006 season . First of all I would like to wish all Committee members , members and volunteers a merry Christmas and a happy new year. Don’t go getting into to much trouble over the festival season, if you cant do that, don’t get caught ! I would like to report on the Quad Nationals, this was an excellent event and would also like to thank those who helped. Now onto the 2007 season, we will be starting midway through February and will only be having 2 quick starts. Our state round looks like being the 18th of March. Next year we will not be taking full memberships on race days so take note of the dates. Another thing that will happen next year will be that we will be closing the sign in shed at 8.30am on race days (this includes quick starts ) Riders brief will be at 8.45am practice will start at 9am there will be no flexibility on these times so don’t give the girls a hard time in the shed as we will have to ask you to leave (remember we are all volunteers and don’t like to get an earful from someone who could not get up early enough. Important: Next year you will also be asked to provide a flaggie on a race day of your choice. If when signing in you do not supply one, then you will not race ! I will be back at the track on Wed afternoons in the new year. So have a good holiday season.

Ken President
