HPA spraying brings together unsurpassed finish quality andatomization power to apply a wide range of materials, including high-viscosity materials.

New HPA spray guns are available with gravity or suctioncups depending on operator’s choice or as an alternativeunder pressure-fed versions fed by a pump or a pressure pot. They are the ideal choice for low to batch production.

HTi meets most stringent legislation related to environmental protection.

New M22 HTi spray guns are available in gravity or pressure versions fedby a pump or pressure pot. Two aircaps are available to choose from thebest performance, depending on materials used and the required outputs.

Performance of M22 is best with low-viscosity materials using the E5 or E3aircap, which offers exceptional results in terms of spraying quality andmaterial savings.

EP5 or EP3 aircap allows the benefits from all HTi spraying technologyadvantages with higher viscosity materials.

PrincipleConventional spraying is the result of theassociation of air and a fluid at the outlet ofa gun. This fluid flows through the nozzle underlow pressure and is atomized by a fan ofcompressed air coming from the aircap, ata pressure comprised between 0.7 and 4 bars.By pulling the trigger, the atomization air isfirstly released by the air valve then fluid isreleased by the needle. The complete set, composed of aircap+nozzle+ needle, is called a projector.

Troubleshooting

Fan coming out in a curve• Turn the aircap by half a turn • if the fault is reversed (thecurve appears in the other direction, check the fanned airoutlets for blockage of deformation), if this doesn’twork, check the nozzle fordeformation.

Uneven fanClean the central hole in the aircap with solvent and the brushprovided,• See that the nozzle is a propertycentered in the central hole of theaircap,• Increase the backward motion ofthe needle which deforms the fanwhen only slightly open.

Fan narrows in the center• Reduce the flow of air throughthe fanned air outlets• Increase the flow of paint.

Fan is broader in the center• Increase the flow of airthrough the fanned air outlets.• Reduce either the flow of thepaint or its viscosity.

ADVICEKREMLIN’S

At the end of the spraying movement, lightly release the trigger to stop theflow of product and avoid a paint overload due to a motionless gun.

To have coats of the same thickness, you shoud :

• maintain the same motion at eachpassage of the gun ,

• keep the spray perpendicular to thesurface at all times (see diagram)

Spraying

From maintenance to car body work, the wide range of HTI and HPA spray guns will provide you with the best adap-ted equipment for all your applications. One of the three spraying types - gravity, suction, pressure - can suit theneeds of a one-man outfit or a major industrial installation. It now only remains for you to find the gun and projectoradapted to the specifications of your application.

AdjustmentsSpraying atomization quality is ensured by the central air outlet. This air outlet is controlled thanks to a regulator on the air supply or, more delicately, by operating the adjusting knob at thebase of the gun handle. The shape of the fan - round or flat - and its width are determi-ned by the air coming from the “horns”on the aircap which is called fanned air outlet and can be tuned independently, using theknob on the back of the gun.Fluid output can be precisely adjusted after you have chosen aprojector and pressure (in the case of the pressure-fed version),using the fluid valve on the back of the gun.(You should choose the nozzle that will allow the needle to be asfar open as possible to have the right flow for the fluid you arespraying).

- Low material consumption, up to 5 litres per day- Suitable for normally to highly diluted paints- Viscosity lower than 40 seconds CA4- Ideal for frequent colour-changing operations- Cup capacity: 0.6 litre- No loss of fluid- Higher fluid output compared to suction-fed systems- Very easy flushing

- Low material consumption, up to 5 litres per day- Suitable for normally to highly diluted paints- Viscosity inferior to 25 seconds CA4- Ideal for frequent colour-changing operations- Cup capacity: 1 litre

- Low material consumption from 3 litres per day- Suitable for slightly to highly diluted paints- Suitable for fluids of any viscosity- High fluid output- Can be fed by a piston or diaphragm pump, or a pressure pot
