OPERATION & CLEANING

CAUTION!NEVER OPERATE THE AIR PURIFIER WITHOUT THE HEPA FILTER PROPERLY INSTALLED. PERMANENT MOTOR DAMAGE COULD OCCUR.

Each time you start the air purifier, it is a good idea to run it on high for a few seconds for fast, initial cleaning. Then set to medium or low as desired.

This air purifier is equipped with a pre-filter and a HEPA filter. Room air is drawn into the air purifier through the air intake grill and passes through the filter. The filtered air is released from the top of the unit and is dispersed upwards into the room.

CLEANING

Your air purifier was thoroughly inspected and tested at the factory prior to packaging. Visually inspect it upon removal from its box. Remove and discard any packaging material.

1.Turn air purifier OFF and unplug from outlet.

2.Clean unit with a moistened soft cloth only. DO NOT pour or splash water on the unit or use any abrasive-type cleaner on it. Clean all external surfaces, especially the air intake grills and air outlet.

3.DO NOT attempt to clean the filter; it IS NOT washable and washing it will damage it.

4.Plug the air purifier into power outlet and turn ON.

WARNING: Before replacing any filters, make sure to remove the power plug from the wall outlet.

MAINTENANCE

Filter Replacement The usable life of a True HEPA filter is approximately 6 months depending on the level of contaminants in the room and the frequency of use. The True HEPA filter will turn medium brown and air volume will begin to decrease dramatically when the filter needs to be changed. You should have a spare filter available for later replacement.

The True HEPA filter is specifically designed for easy replacement to provide maximum performance. THE FILTERS ARE NOT WASHABLE.

1. When the pre-filter or filter light is illuminated, you should open the front grill and replace the filter.

2. When you change the filter, press the reset icon (Figure 6).

3. Turn the air purifier OFF and unplug it from the power outlet.

4. Press the oval buttons on each side of the unit to release the grill. While, lifting up and away from the unit, remove the grill (Figure 7).

5. Remove and discard the filter. 6. Remove any plastic or protective

wrapping and/or packaging from the new filter.

7. Set new filter into the air purifier. Ensure the filter is seated fully into the unit by pressing all four corners of the filter. (Figure 8).

8. Install the front grill by engaging its tabs into the bottom slots on the unit. (Figure 9). Then swing grill up and gently push in top to snap into place. (Figure 10).
