• Ecosystems is made up of two different groups of factors/influences:

• 1. Abiotic (non-living) - physical environment

–Ex: water, sunlight, oxygen, soil, nutrients and temperature

• 2. Biotic (living) - living organisms

–Ex: plants, animals, fungi, and bacteria
